Vintage sterling silver cross with a pearl center. The cross has gently flared ends and is detailed with engraved pattern of small floral/starburst motifs at each point, giving it a subtle Southwestern influence. There is a pearl in the center of the cross that adds texture and dimension.
The pendant is suspended from a flexible sterling silver snake chain with pearl drops that match the central stone. The bail is slightly oversized, allowing the pendant to hang securely. The cross was made in Mexico and the bail is marked 925 Mexico TM-247. TM-247 is used on sterling silver made in Taxco Mexico and 247 is the registration number of the artisan or workshop.
The necklace measures 18 inches in length and is finished with a sterling silver heart toggle closure. The cross is 2 inches long by 1.5 inches wide and hangs at 2.5 inches from the necklace.
This is a one of a kind hand made treasure that can be worn with anything anytime.
