Vintage Mid Century Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet. Rosas de Portugal Bangle.

This 925 sterling silver Portuguese bracelet is a beautifully detailed vintage cuff with rich repoussé-style floral and foliate embossing that wraps continuously around the band. Victorian-inspired aesthetic. The silver floral motive enhances the depth of the pattern and gives the piece an elegant antique character.
Stamped “Rosas De Portugal” on the interior. The bracelet was made between the the 30s and 40s by the Portuguese designer David Rosas, inspired by traditional European silver work motifs. The wide cuff silhouette makes it a statement piece while still retaining an ornate femininity. The repoussé on the bracelet has a sculptural quality with remarkable dimensional detail.
The bracelet opens and closes securely and has a safety chain, the clasp contains European hallmarks, (barley visible- see photo).
