This is a beautiful antique Victorian-era hand-carved shell cameo. The cameo shows a charming European pastoral village scene, with buildings, architectural details, and a small figure.
This beautiful hand-carved shell cameo is set in a gold-fill bezel with an elegant ribbon-style surround. I attached the antique cameo to a rose gold over sterling silver chain, finished with a lobster clasp marked 925 PAT PEND Italy, by stitching a wire to the cameo and the chain to create an appealing combination of Victorian character and contemporary wearability.
This stunning piece is one-of-a-kind, hand-assembled, and hand-stitched by me.
