This one-of-a-kind, handmade necklace combines the subtle beauty of natural tanzanite with a substantial vintage sterling silver cross set with lavender crystals. The tanzanite beads display a beautiful range of grayish-lavender tones, creating a soft, understated color palette that complements the pendant.

I hand-strung the natural tanzanite beads on silk cord, adding delicate glass seed beads between each stone. The tanzanite beads range in size from approximately 1 to 1.5 cm, with natural variations in color and appearance that give the necklace its distinctive character.

The focal point is a striking vintage sterling silver cross measuring approximately 2.75 inches long by 2 inches wide. Its intricate geometric design features lavender crystals set throughout, creating texture, dimension, and a beautiful contrast against the silver. The cross hangs approximately 3.25 inches from the necklace. The back reveals the sterling silver framework and crystal cutouts, offering an attractive alternative way to wear the necklace. The pendant is stamped 925 near the bail.
