Art Deco French Gilded Crucifix. Aquamarine Freshwater Pearl Necklace.

Art Deco Bishop’s pectoral crucifix cross necklace. Designed by artist Ferdinand Py, in French gold gilt bronze.
The pendant is hand-strung on a necklace of natural polished aquamarine beads, with soft translucence and serene blue tone, complimented with freshwater pearls, gold-toned spacer beads and finished with a gold-tone hook closure. Measuring 33 inches in length, this versatile design can be worn long or doubled for a layered look. The guilded cross measures 2½-inch long by 2¼-inch wide. The polished aquamarine roundels are 10mm X 5mm. This is a great piece for collectors of fine vintage and artist-made jewellery.
