Art Deco French Gilded Crucifix. Aquamarine Jade Freshwater Pearl Necklace.

Art Deco Bishop’s pectoral crucifix cross necklace. Designed by artist Ferdinand Py, in French gold gilt bronze.
The pendant is hand-strung (by me) on a necklace of natural polished aquamarine  colored jade beads, with soft translucence and serene blue tone, complimented with freshwater pearls, gold-toned spacer beads and finished with a gold-tone hook closure. Measuring 33 inches in length, this versatile design can be worn long or doubled for a layered look. The gilded cross measures 2½-inch long by 2¼-inch wide. The polished aquamarine colored jade roundels are 10mm X 5mm. This is a great piece for collectors of fine vintage and artist-made jewellery.
