The chain has some tarnish to a few links, I took the 2 tarnished links out and put them at the back next to the spring clasp. I purchased the flag new, as a pin/brooch, wired the closure on flag and added acrylic tubing to stabilize the flag from moving. The vintage chain is from one of my vintage vendors, I assembled the flag and chain together. The necklace measures 16 inches and the flag measures 1.50 inches X 1.50 inches.
